BIOS/Firmware updates should be only done if

- you add or remove Power Supply, Fan(s), Backplane(s), Management Module
- you add CPU(s) or replace with newer CPU(s)
- you replace Memory Modules with new ones
- you replace Mainboard, Management Modul or Backplane


Please keep in mind: After an update, ressource-mapping of the hardware is possible. This can
have negative effects to the Operating System.
